Chiara Motley

Chiara Motley is an award-winning actress and producer based in Los Angeles and Seattle. Her original drama pilot Paradise Lanes won Best TV Pilot at both HollyShorts Film Festival and Big Apple Film Festival in 2025. Chiara co-created, produced, and starred opposite Michael Potts in All Souls, a web series which won the Gold Award for a Digital Series at DC Webfest in 2020 and the audience award at FLICKFAIR in 2021. She also co-produced two acclaimed seasons of The Corps, featured at the American Black Film Festival and Urbanworld. She has created a number of other projects, including music videos, immersive transmedia film projects, and video portraits of spoken word poets for Urban Word NYC. 

Currently, Chiara is a producer for two feature films Envie (filming in Charleston, SC in 2026) and A Woman Abroad (currently in pre-production). In addition to producing and writing, Ms. Motley continues to be in demand as a performer in film and stage. Chiara received her B.A. in drama from Stanford University where she won the Evelyn M. Draper Prize for Performance and her MFA from the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver, CO. She has performed on stages across the country including ACT, Seattle Repertory Theatre, DC Shakespeare Theatre, Baltimore Center Stage and more. Chiara is on the advisory board for Emergence Films and a founding member of Some Folks Productions.
